"Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and go do that.  Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."

Mission Trips

We host over 50 dynamic mission trips to Chinandega, Nicaragua each year.  These week-long trips consist of groups from schools, churches, and even companies.  The focus of our trips is to serve God by working alongside and building relationships with our Nicaraguan friends.  Trip activities vary, but usually consist of construction work, community development, health clinics, spiritual programs, sports, and visiting orphanages.  Please click on one of the links below for more information.

Mission teams usually travel Saturday to Saturday, arriving to/departing from the Augusto C. Sandino International Airport in Managua. Teams are met by Amigos for Christ staff with transportation to Chinandega (a 2-3 hour ride). Our mission trips are designed to provide a cross-cultural experience, serving alongside our Nicaraguan friends in rural communities. Amigos staff members lead morning and evening devotionals to reflect upon each day's activities and inspire personal and spiritual growth.
